Punjab has hundreds of great dishes, but a handful come up on almost every successful wedding menu we cater. Here they are, in the order guests usually go looking for them.
1. Paneer Tikka
A near-universal starter. Fresh paneer, well-marinated and grilled hot, disappears fastest at every live tandoor counter.
2. Amritsari Fish
For non-vegetarian menus, this crispy, spiced fish is a Punjab classic that outsells almost every other starter.
3. Dal Makhani
Slow-cooked overnight, this is the dish most guests judge a Punjabi caterer by. Worth getting exactly right.
4. Butter Chicken
The most-requested non-vegetarian main course, and for good reason — rich, familiar, and universally liked.
5. Sarson da Saag & Makki di Roti
A seasonal (winter) favourite that older guests especially look forward to.
6–10. The Supporting Cast
Chole Bhature or Amritsari Kulcha for a breakfast function, Kadai Paneer, Tandoori Roti and Naan fresh off a live counter, Gulab Jamun served warm, and a proper Punjabi Lassi to wash it all down — these round out a menu that feels complete without being overloaded.
